3 Kg Ham Leg
1/4 Cup Hoisin Sauce
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
1 Teaspoon Ground Star Arise
|1. Carefully remove the skin from the |
Ham, leaving a little skin on the knuckle.
|2. Use the point of a sharp knife to score |
evenly spaced lines into the fat, making
sure not to cut all the way through the fat.
|3. Combine the hoisin sauce, |
brown sugar, soy sauce and star arise
and brush over the ham.
|4. Place the Ham in a baking dish lined |
with baking paper or aluminium foil.
Cover the knuckle with baking paper
or aluminium foil..
|5. Bake the ham for 35 minutes, brushing |
with glaze every 10 minutes.
Slice the ham then serve with pineapple.
