Hoisin Ham


3 Kg Ham Leg
1/4 Cup Hoisin Sauce
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
1/4 Cup Soy Sauce
1 Teaspoon Ground Star Arise


1. Carefully remove the skin from the 
Ham, leaving a little skin on the knuckle.
2.  Use the point of a sharp knife to score 
evenly spaced lines into the fat, making 
sure not to cut all the way through the fat.

3. Combine the hoisin sauce, 
brown sugar, soy sauce and star arise 
and brush over the ham.
4. Place the Ham in a baking dish lined 
with baking paper or aluminium foil. 
Cover the knuckle with baking paper 
or aluminium foil..

5. Bake the ham for 35 minutes, brushing 
with glaze every 10 minutes. 

Slice the ham then serve with pineapple.
